<p>The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Pohnpei, Micronesia, was cleared to land at the airport but touched down short of the runway amid heavy rain and low visibility.</p>

<p>Authorities said the pilots declared emergency after one or more individuals pointed a laser beam on the plane, impairing pilot’s visibility. The flight was coming from New York at the time.</p>
<p>The plane landed uneventfully. There were 120 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.</p>
