<p>The plane was en-route from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Milwaukee when the pilot requested an emergency landing due to a maintenance light indicator.</p>
<p>The plane landed uneventfully. There were 74 passengers and 4 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.</p>

<p>The incident happened when the plane was heading to Portland from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with 54 people aboard.</p>
<p>According to the Portland Fire Department spokesman Tim Nangle, the pilot of the CRJ 200 aircraft radioed the Portland tower at 8:35 p.m., and communicated that the flaps of the aircraft were not working properly.</p>
