]]> A U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter had to make an emergency landing in La Bota Ranch, Laredo, Texas, on June 5.

According to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson, “The helicopter was impacted by gunfire, hitting the side of the aircraft and the rotor blade… The pilot was able to make a safe landing, there were no injuries.”

The FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, USCBP, Laredo Police Department and Texas Rangers responded to the area.

The incident is being investigated.
