]]> A helicopter crashed after its blades brushed a mountain near Picos de Europa range in Leon province of Spain on August 24.

The accident happened when the helicopter was on a rescue mission for a mountain climber, with 4 members of Spain’s rural Civil Guard police aboard.

According to local government, 2 pilots and a winch operator was killed in the accident while the fourth member escaped the accident as he had already descended to the ground for helping the climber.
