Kalitta Charters flight K9-720 suffered a nose gear collapse after landing in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on January 28th The incident happened when the Boeing 727-200 freighter plane was coming from Laredo, Texas. The plane became disabled on the runway. Everyone aboard remained uninjured.

]]> A U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter had to make an emergency landing in La Bota Ranch, Laredo, Texas, on June 5.

According to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson, “The helicopter was impacted by gunfire, hitting the side of the aircraft and the rotor blade… The pilot was able to make a safe landing, there were no injuries.”

The FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, USCBP, Laredo Police Department and Texas Rangers responded to the area.

The incident is being investigated.
