]]> A Nature Air plane crashed in the mountains of Guanacaste in Costa Rica, on December 31st.

The incident happened shortly after the plane took off for Juan Santamaria International Airport.

There were twelve people aboard at the time, including ten US citizens and two local crew members. All of them were killed in the crash.

The incident is being investigation.

]]> LAN AirlinesPeru’s LAN Airlines flight LPE-599, made an emergency landing at Juan Santamaria International Airport, Costa Rica, on the evening of July 26.

The decision for emergency landing was made after the Airbus A320, en route from Cancun, Mexico to Lima, Peru, experienced electrical problems.
