]]> A single-engine plane crashed immediately after take off from Elmdale Airpark in Abilene, Texas, on March 1st.

Authorities said the two-seater Vans RV-6 experimental aircraft went down near the end of the runway.

There were two people aboard at the time; Both of them were killed in the crash. They were identified as James Estol Hathcock, 63, and Aaron T. Taylor, 33, both of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The cause of crash is being investigated.
