]]> A small plane made an emergency landing after running out of fuel on the evening of May 25 on a grass airstrip in Harpswell Neck, Maine.

The Washington D.C. -bound, single-engine plane landed in the area of Route 123, which is also known as Harpswell Neck Road and Basin Cove Road. According to Lt. John Faith of Brunswick Fire department, the rescue unit responded immediately, but the occupants of the plane refused to be taken to the hospital.

The plane was slightly damaged.
