										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A small plane crashed at Bartow Municipal Airport, Florida, on December 24th.</p>
<p>The incident happened immediately after the plane took off from the main runway, in dense fog. </p>
<p>There were five people aboard the plane; all of them were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot John Hugh Shannon, 70, his daughters, Olivia Shannon, 24, and Victoria Shannon Worthington, 26, Worthington’s husband, Peter Worthington, 27, and family friend Krista Clayton, 32.</p>

<p>Captain and the first officer were killed in the crash. All three crew members sustained injuries.</p>

<p>The plane, en-route from Waterville/Kings County Municipal Airport, Canada, to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, had to be landed in emergency due to fog and heavy rain.</p>
<p>The plane landed safely. The sheriff&#8217;s department confirmed that the pilot, identified as Gary Soucy, 66, remained unhurt.</p>
