]]> A nine-seat single-engine plane crashed at Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport, Georgia, on January 6.

Authorities said the Cobalt Air 727, a Pilatus PC-12 plane, developed some issues while it was taking off for Lexington, Kentucky. The pilot was attempting to land back when the plane ran off the runway 1 and came to stop in a ditch.

There were two people aboard at the time; both of them were injured. They were taken to Memorial University Medical Centre.

The FAA will investigate.
