<p>The Cessna 152 plane, carrying two people, went down into a swamp on mile marker 47 near Tamiami.</p>
<p>According to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Mike Jachles, “When that airplane came down into the swamp, the two men told our firefighters that the nose gear head caused the plane to flip over.”</p>

<p>Authorities said the plane went down during a routine testing flight after undergoing maintenance.</p>
<p>There were two people aboard the plane, including the pilot Major Ivy Safatillah, and a technician; both of them were killed in the crash.</p>
<p>Authorities confirmed that two people, including a 47-year-old woman and 27-year-old man, who were present in the house at the time of crash were also killed.</p>

<p>The pilot, identified as Paul Borghese, 47, of Ashburn, Virginia, said he was forced to make an emergency landing after the plane experienced engine issues. He was heading from Clearview Airpark, Westminster to Leesburg, Virginia at the time.</p>
<p>The plane ended up on its roof and sustained minor damage.</p>
