Easyjet flight U2-8704 made an emergency landing on Porto Santo Island in the Atlantic Ocean, on May 24th.
According to an airline spokesperson, the Airbus A320-200, heading from Tenerife, Spain, to Gatwick Airport, England, was diverted due to a technical issue.
The plane landed safely. There were 167 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
