JetBlue flight 1786 had to make an emergency landing at Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts at around 5:30 p.m. on November 6.
The flight was on its way from Pittsburgh to Boston when the pilot informed the authorities that a 2-year-old child was in cardiac arrest.
The aircraft landed safely and the child was immediately taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. The authorities said that he was unconscious at the time but did have a pulse.
Massachusetts State Police Trooper John Morris, who was one of the first to reach at the scene, said, “There was a doctor on board the flight and he responded and he performed medical attention to the child that was very helpful with his survival.”
