The Boeing wingtip broke off; and the tail of the other plane. Other sources list this as a different plane but you can’t argue with the BEA as a source. They’re French.

The BEA lists it here http://www.bea.aero/fr/enquetes/2012/2012.semaine.32.pdf as

Our usual aviation photographers at Airliners net don’t show the down and dirty photos any more, so we had to do some ground-level searches to find this. These are from the plain old internet, none of our experts so feel free to blame (or praise) the search engine. This plane was broken. But if it was flying okay the accident well over a year ago, then do we presume the site of the damage was as good as new?

On April 4, 2013 about 12:30 am, a Leair Charter Service Limited Cessna 402C was landing in the process of a medical evacuation and collided with a parked truck being used to illuminate the runway.

The pilot and passenger in the plane survived.

The vehicle caught on fire, killing three occupants. The fatalities are named in the video.

Additionally, the video calls for the need for lights on the runway.

Official statement:
Tragic aviation accident in Mayaguana
The Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin
Minister of Transport and Aviation
In the early hours of this morning I was informed of an aviation accident in Mayaguana resulting in the tragic death of 3 people. I am advised that all 3 persons are residents of the island of Mayaguana. A preliminary report from the Department of Civil Aviation says that on 4th April, 2013 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a Cessna C402 owned by Leair Charter Service Limited with a crew of 2 on board was making a landing at night for an emergency evacuation flight with two vehicles strategically placed to outline the useable portion of the runway. It is reported that the aircraft made contact with one of the vehicles resulting in the deaths of the 3 passengers in that vehicle.

An investigative team comprising the Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Air Accident Investigation and Prevention Unit of the Department of Civil Aviation will fly into Mayaguana at 5 a.m. this morning.

I wish to assure that a full investigation will be carried out by the Department of Civil Aviation into the causes and circumstances surrounding this terrible event. I will report further as information permits. Out of respect for the families, the names of the persons killed will not be disclosed until an official release is made by the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of these beloved persons and to the wider community of Mayaguana who share in this loss.

What: Sol Linéas Aéreas Saab 340A en route from Mendoza to Neuquén to Comodoro Rivadavia.
Where: El Plumerillo airport, Mendoza Argentina
When: Jan 2, 2013
Who: 33 aboard, 30 passengers, 3 crew, no fatalities
Why: On takeoff, the Sol Linéas Aéreas flight exited the runway with a jammed wheel.

A wing touched the ground and a propeller broke. While there was damage to the plane, and no fatalities, the passengers were reported as being in a panic, with women and children screaming and one person possibly having a nervous breakdown.

To paraphrase Sol’s statement:
“The aircraft performed maneuvers 8R5420 taxiway but transitioned off the track and had to interrupt operation.

Emergency services were available. Passengers were provided another Aerolineas flight. Many passengers praised the pilot for handling a dangerous situation that resulted in no injuries reported.

What: SpiceJet Boeing 737-800 en route from Delhi to Hyderabad
Where: Delhi-Indira Gandhi International Airport
When: Dec 6 2012
Who: 142 aboard
Why: During taxi, the plane’s wing struck a lamp post, canceling the flight for 142 passengers. A damaged wing will require inspection before the plane can return to service.

Spicejet issued a statement that the accident was minor.

According to reports, 142 passengers were aboard at the time, many of them quite disturbed by the incident. The collision damaged a wing.

An inquiry has been ordered. Action may be taken against the pilot and those who were directing the pilot. Spicejet’s attitude is that this is a minor incident. That attitude is being interpreted by officials that the safety of passengers is not of primary concern to Spicejet. This may be considered a case of negligence.

Why: The flight was a normal flight.

The plane landed with the left main gear off the runway and struck the right wing tip while turning back onto the runway centerline.
