<p>According to Gene Olson, the Director of General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport,  &#8220;I don&#8217;t know exactly what the issue was, but there was a cabin depressurization so they made a precautionary landing here in Peoria.&#8221;</p>
<p>The CRJ-700, which was on its way from St. Louis to Chicago O&#8217;Hare, landed safely. No injuries were reported.</p>
<p>GoJet said in a statement that the flight was diverted due to indication of smoke in the cockpit. <p>The Pilot of the Delta Connections carrier GoJet coming from St. Louis saw a crack in the windshield and made emergency landing at LaGuardia Airport, NY, on March 22.</p>
<p>The plane did not have any passengers on board.</p>
<p>Delta spokesperson said the windshield had a very thin crack and the plane remained fully pressurized.  The pilot declared emergency as an extraordinary precautionary measure.</p>
