<b>Why: </b> The approach to Dayton was aborted when the pilot received an unsafe gear message.  The pilot returned to Milwaukee, and entered a holding pattern while pilot and ACC attempted to solve technical issues.</p>
<p>On landing in Milwaukee, the nose gear collapsed.
