<b>When: </b> Sept 1, 2012<br />
<b>Who: </b>  4 aboard, 4 fatalities<br />
<b>Why: </b>  At 4.45 pm Moscow time, the light Yak-18 crashed in the Russian village of Katunino.  There were four aboard the plane at the time of the crash.</p>
<p>The plane crashed 300 meters from the runway and caught fire. Firefighters, rescue workers, a team of SMP, the police, the prosecutor&#8217;s office were on the scene.</p>
<p>The club holds trials free flights for everyone. This had been one of those free flights. It was the first time 28-year-old businessman Andrei Ershov had ever flown and according to Andrei&#8217;s ex-wife, he had been excited over it, and had persuaded his friend Kolodeshnikov Denis to join him.</p>

Korotkov Olga, 29 years old,<br />
Andrei Ershov, 28,<br />
