										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Kazakhstan Air Force Aero L-39C Albatros was on a training mission when it crashed in Akhtobe Kazakhstan.</p>
<p>A teacher and a student pilot were aboard. &#8220;Methodologist of the-inspector of the security service of flights of the Military Institute lieutenant colonel  aviation Colonel   Vissarionov Evgeny Nikolaevich and  Military Institute Cadet Massalimov Arman Evgeniyuly died on impact.&#8221;</p>
<p>The crash was witnessed by passengers who had just arrived from Almaty.</p>
<p>The plane crashed into the hanger.</p>

<b>Why: </b> When the Aero Vodochody L-29 Delphin fighter jet impacted terrain, the two aboard, Fisher Floyd and Noell Rather were killed.  The impact occurred near the juncture of the Trinity River and Highway 35, leaving a debris field for hundreds of feet.</p>
<p>Floyd won the flight in an auction. He leaves  behind a wife and two kids.</p>

<p>The incident is under investigation. <b>Why: </b> When Boulder City Police Chief Thomas Finn talked about the training flight, he said,  “It landed flat; it pancaked into the desert.<br />
After the plane crashed, the engine was still running and caught fire, burning the rear end of the aircraft.&#8221; Two of the jets had taken off in tandem but only one issued a Mayday and crashed.  The jet&#8217;s tail and most of its body are still intact.</p>
<p>The flight took off from Boulder City Municipal Airport.<br />
Emergency responders included Metro Police and Boulder City police and firefighters.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/may/18/nv-plane-crash-boulder-city-2nd-ld/" target="_blank" data-wpel-link="external">Las Vegas Sun</a> the registered owner of the plane, Walter Woltosz of LA, was not aboard.<br />
