Small plane crashes in Flevoland lake; Rescuers searching for victims

A report of a sports plane crash in the Zwarte Meer, a lake between Flevoland and Overijssel, sent emergency services responding to the municipality of Kraggenburg in large numbers on Tuesday morning. The crash happened around 11:00 a.m. 

One or two people were in the plane, a spokesperson for the local security region, Veiligheidsregio Flevoland, said to ANP. The fire brigade confirmed the plane was a two-seater to Omroep Flevoland.
