What: Horizon Air de Havilland Dash 8-400/Alaska Airlines en route from Redding CA to Los Angeles CA
Where: Los Angeles
When: Nov 8th 2010
Who: 73 passengers
(Another report alleges there were 39 passengers.)
Why: On approach to LA, crew members reported that a bird struck the right wing.

The plane landed safely at the airport at about 2 pm Monday. Damage assessment on the fuel tank and the right wing is forthcoming, but initially, it appears to be substantial.
