Kenya Airways flight KQ-704 had to return and make an emergency landing in Harare, Zimbabwe, on May 7th. The plane heading to Lusaka, Zambia, had to turn back after it suffered a bird strike during departure. The plane landed back safely. All ninety-six passengers remained safe. SA Airlink Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Johannesburg

SA Airlink flight SA-8103 made an emergency landing in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 8th. The plane flying from Harare, Zimbabwe, was descending toward Johannesburg when one of the engines suffered an uncontained failure. The plane continued for a safe landing. Air Zimbabwe Plane Makes Emergency Landing due to Loss of Cabin Pressure

Air Zimbabwe flight UM-467 had to divert for an emergency landing in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on July 10th. The Boeing 737-200 plane heading from Harare, Zimbabwe, to Johannesburg, South Africa, was diverted due to loss of cabin pressure. The plane landed safely. Plane Crash Near Zimbabwe-Mozambique Border Kills 6

A small plane crashed in the Vumba Mountains in Zimbabwe, on March 27th. The plane was heading from Beira, Mozambique, to Mutare, Zimbabwe when it went down. Air Zimbabwe Plane made Safe Landing in South Africa after Overflowing Lavatory

Air Zimbabwe flight UM-467 made a safe landing at O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 6. The Boeing 767-200 was flying from Harare, Zimbabwe, when water started overflowing from one of its lavatories and entered into its cabin. The plane landed safely. No one was injured.
