Air Cargo Carriers Plane Crashes in West Virginia; 2 Killed

Air Cargo Carriers flight 2Q-1260 crashed into the trees left to the runway of Yeager Airport, Charleston, West Virginia, on May 5th.

The Short SD-330 flying on behalf of UPS went down the hill after hitting the trees.

All 2 crew members aboard lost their lives in the crash.

The incident is under investigation.

Delta Airlines Plane Diverts to Charleston due to Bird Strike

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight 4071 made an emergency landing at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia, on April 14th.

The plane, en-route from New York’s Laguardia Airport to Nashville, Tennessee, was diverted after a bird hit it, causing a crack in its windshield.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 57 people aboard remained safe.

One Killed, One Injured after Small Plane Crashes at Yeager Airport

A small plane flipped over during take off at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia, on March 26th.

Authorities said the Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft was carrying two people when it overturned and caught fire.

Both occupants of the plane were taken to hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of accident is being investigated.
