Small Plane Crashed at Trinca Airport, NJ; Pilot Dead

A small plane crashed at Trinca Airport in Green Township, New Jersey, on August 6th.

Authorities said the single-engine plane went down at the end of the runway.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashed in Potter County, PA; 3 Killed

A Piper PA-28 plane crashed in Potter County, Pennsylvania, on October 16th.

The plane was heading from Richmond International Airport, Virginia, to St. Catharines/Niagara District Airport, Ontario, Canada, when it went down in Keating Township.

Three were three people aboard at the time; all of them were killed in the crash. They were identified as 18-year-old Cory Mijac, 25-year-old Rifat Tawig, and 18-year-old Benjamin Jeffries. All of them were from Ontario, Canada.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Two Killed after Small Plane Crashes in Ohio

A small plane crashed in Turtlecreek Township, Warren County, Ohio, on October 16th.

The plane, carrying two people, went down in a wooded area near the YMCA Camp Kern.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as Eric Hackney, 43, and Jesse Loy, 36. Both of them were from Punta Gorda, Florida.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashes in Berks County Cornfield

A small plane crashed into a cornfield in Washington Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, on September 21.

The plane ended up in an upside down position near 1600 block of Route 100. According to a witness Tyler Moyer, “We heard the engine stall, and then it started back up… The farmer was still picking the corn. The farmer didn’t even notice it, and the dust was flying everywhere from the tractors and stuff,”

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the cause of crash.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Capital City Airport

A twin-engine Citation aircraft had to return and make an emergency landing at Capital City Airport in Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania, on September 19.

Authorities said the plane was near Chambersburg when one of its engines failed, prompting the pilot to turn around.

The plane landed safely.

Both people aboard remained unharmed.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Hillsborough Township after Wing Damage

emergencyA 1993 Mooney M20M aircraft made a controlled emergency landing at Central Jersey Regional Airport, Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, on September 19.

The Pennsylvania-bound plane was taking off from the airport when its left wing touched a chain link fence adjacent to the runway, causing damage and forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.

The plane landed safely. The pilot Ross Cole and his passenger Pamela Cole remained uninjured.

The incident is being investigated.
