PAL Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Stephenville, Canada

PAL Airlines flight PB-1922 made an emergency landing in Stephenville, Canada, on November 15th.

The plane heading from Churchill Falls to Deer Lake, Canada, was diverted due to indication of an unsafe nose gear.

The plane landed with the nose gear up. All forty-seven passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Diverts to Canada due to Cracked Windshield

American Airlines flight AA-207 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on October 28th.

The Boeing 777-200 plane heading from Milan–Malpensa Airport, Italy, to Miami, Florida, was diverted due to a cracked windshield.

The plane landed uneventfully. All three hundred and seven people aboard remained unharmed.

Small Plane Crash in Texas Injures Father and Son

A small plane crashed near Clark Field Municipal Airport in Stephenville, Texas, on March 26th.

The 1974 Grumman Lynx plane was flying from Dallas when it ran out of fuel and landed nose down, around 1 mile from the airport.

The plane was carrying two people at the time, including the pilot Richard Abila, 40, and his son Aaron Abila, 17. Both of them were injured and were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

American Airlines Plane Diverts to Canada after Engine Failure

american airlinesAn American Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing at Stephenville Airport in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on August 27.

The Airbus 330-300, heading from Italy to North Carolina, was diverted after one of its engines failed.

The plane, carrying no passengers and only 3 crew members, landed safely. No injuries were reported.
