Indian Air Force Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing due to Technical Snag

An Indian Air Force helicopter had to make an emergency landing in a field in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on February 19th.

The MI 8 helicopter was heading from Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru, Karnataka to Sulur Air Force Station, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, when the pilot decided to land in emergency due to a technical snag.

The chopper landed safely in a field near Koppa Gate of Bannerghatta, Bengaluru.

There were 6 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Air India Flight Returns to Allahabad due to Technical Snag

The plane took off for New Delhi, India, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a technical snag.

Air India Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bihar

The plane took off for New Delhi, India, but had to return shortly afterwards after it developed a technical snag.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 127 passengers aboard at the time, including senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor; all of them remained safe.

Jet Airways Flight Diverts to Yangon International Airport

Jet AirwaysJet Airways flight 9W-070 had to return and make an emergency landing at Yangon International Airport, Myanmar, on January 5.

The Boeing 737 plane took off from the Chhtrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India, and was heading to Bangkok, Thailand, when the pilots decided to return due to a technical snag.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 184 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

The airline arranged an alternate plane for the passengers.

Hong Kong-Bound Air India Jet Diverts to Kolkata

The Boeing Dreamliner, heading from Delhi to Hong Kong, was diverted after the pilots noticed a technical snag.

All 216 passengers and 10 crew members aboard remained unhurt.
