Pilot Killed after Small Plane Crashed near Hesperia Airport, CA

A small plane crashed near Hesperia Airport, California, on March 7th.

Authorities said the ultralight plane went down near the north end of the airport.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the accident.

He was later identified as Robert Alexander, 55, of Hesperia, California.

The incident is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashed in Oklahoma; Pilot Injured

A small plane crashed in a wooded area near William R. Pogue Municipal Airport in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on April 21st.

Authorities said the single-engine aircraft went down moments after taking off from the airport.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured and was taken to hospital.

The FAA will investigate.

Small Plane Crashed in California; 2 Injured

A small plane crashed and caught fire at Brackett Field Airport, La Verne, California, at around 1:44 P.M. on November 19.

The single-engine Cessna crashed while the pilot was attempting to make an emergency landing. According to the FAA, “The aircraft … struck a perimeter fence upon landing.”

All 2 people aboard sustained injuries.

The incident is under investigation.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Idaho Interstate

Fokker-belly landingA small plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 84, near Boise Airport, Idaho, on October 13.

The plane was preparing to land at the airport when the pilot reported engine failure and decided to land on the motorway.

The plane landed on its belly. The pilot, identified as Jon M. Brinkerhoff, 30, of Boise, remained uninjured.

According to the owner of Boise-based charter business SP Aircraft, Andy Patrick, the plane was transporting cargo from Seattle, Washington.
