Two F15 Jets Make Emergency Landing at Huntsville International Airport

Two F15 jets made an emergency landing at Huntsville International Airport, Alabama, on October 28th.

The planes were flying from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, to Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, when one of them experienced mechanical issues.

The planes were diverted to Huntsville where they landed safely.

All crew members aboard remained unharmed.

F-15 Fighter Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Tulsa

An F-15 fighter jet had to make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on April 14th.

The plane was one of the two returning from a training session at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Authorities said the pilot decided to divert due to a “minor system malfunction.”

The plane landed uneventfully. No injuries were reported.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Indiana interstate

A 1967 Beechcraft Bonzana plane had to make an emergency landing on Interstate-65, between the cities of Seymour and Crothersville, in Indiana, on February 27th.

The plane was heading from Seymour, Indiana, to Louisville, Kentucky, when it developed a mechanical problem. The pilot Aaron Wright, 44, of Carmel, attempted to return to the airport but realized he could not make it and landed on the interstate instead.

The plane was carrying three people, including Wright, his wife, and 13-year-old son; all of them remained uninjured.

Indiana State Police, the FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
