American Eagle Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Green Bay

An American Eagle plane had to divert and make an emergency landing at Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on February 12.

The plane, heading from Marquette, Michigan, to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, was diverted after it developed control problems.

The plane landed safely.

There were 42 passengers and 3 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.

United Airlines Plane Diverts to Detroit due to Disruptive Passenger

new-united-logoUnited Airlines flight 3461 had to make an emergency landing at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Michigan, on January 7.

The plane heading from LaGuardia Airport, New York, to O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, had to be diverted due to an unruly passenger. It is believed that a woman asked to be let off the plane mid-air and when the crew members told her it was not possible, she became aggressive and attacked the passengers and crew.

The woman was restrained using scarves, belts, seat belts when the plane, carrying 69 passengers and 4 crew, landed in Detroit.

She was taken into custody by the FBI. The plane resumed its journey after a short delay.

The flight was being operated by Shuttle America.

Japan Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Narita International Airport

Japan AirlinesA Japan Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Narita International Airport in Japan, on December 29.

It is believed that a sensor component of the Boeing 777’s landing gear was found on the runway after it took off from Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The pilots decided to continue the flight and requested emergency assistance at Narita International Airport.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 232 passengers and crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

United Airlines Plane Returns to Illinois due to Hydraulic Problems

United AirlinesUnited Airlines flight UA-881 had to return and make an emergency landing at O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois, on December 8.

The Boeing 747-400, flying towards Tokyo Narita, Japan, had to return due to hydraulic problems.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

United Airlines Flight makes Safe Landing in Chicago; 1 injured

United ExpressA United Airlines flight UA-664 made a safe landing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Illinois, on November 13.

The Airbus A319-100, en-route from Vancouver, Canada to Chicago, USA, encountered turbulence mid-air, forcing the crew to descend the aircraft.

The plane landed safely.

The flight attendant aboard sustained minor injuries.

United Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Las Vegas

United airlinesUnited Airlines flight 519 had make an emergency landing at McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 9.

The Airbus A320 was flying from O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, when the crew declared emergency due to possible braking and steering issue.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 157 passengers aboard remained unhurt.

Sick Passengers Dies After AA Flight Makes Emergency Landing at O’Hare

American AirlinesA 69 year old sick passenger traveling on American Airlines Flight 12 died shortly after the pilot made an emergency landing at O’Hare International Airport in order to provide the passenger medical care.

American Airlines spokesperson Mary Frances Fagan said that the flight was en route from Los Angeles to New York when a passenger got sick. The pilot then decided to make an emergency landing at O’Hare to provide emergency medical treatment to the old man. The plane landed at about 4:45 p.m. on April 2, after which he was rushed to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center. He was confirmed dead at 5:08 p.m.
