Lufthansa flight LH-444 had to return and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 19th.

The Airbus A340-600 plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to turn back after several passengers began experiencing nausea and dizziness due to fumes on board.

The plane landed back safely.

Ryanair Plane Diverts to Germany due to in-flight Depressurization; 33 Passengers Unwell

Ryanair flight FR-7312 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Frankfurt–Hahn Airport, Germany, on July 13th.

The Boeing 737-800 flying from Dublin, Ireland, to Zadar, Croatia, had to divert due to in-flight depressurization.

The plane carrying 189 people landed safely.

Around 33 passengers reported ear pain, nausea, and ear bleeding. They were treated by the medical staff aboard, while some had to be taken to hospitals.

Jetstar Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Coolangatta

Jetstar Airways flight JQ-967 made an emergency landing in Coolangatta, Queensland, Australia, on December 20th.

The A320-200 plane flying from Cairns, Queensland, Australia, was on approach to Coolangatta when fumes were noticed on-board, and all six crew members complained of dizziness, light-headedness, and nausea.

The plane continued for a safe landing. The crew members were taken to hospitals.

There were no passengers aboard the flight.

United Airlines Flight Diverts to Heathrow Airport due to Medical Emergency

United Airlines flight UA-31 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, England, on November 26th.

Eurowings flight EW-7764 made an emergency landing in Hamburg, Germany, on November 7th.

The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Zurich, Switzerland, but had to turn back after a smell was noticed in the cockpit and cabin.

The plane landed back safely. One passenger complained of nausea and breathing difficulties and was taken to a hospital. All five crew members were also taken to a hospital for examination.

American Airlines flight AA-1927 made an emergency landing at Raleigh–Durham International Airport, North Carolina, on July 16th.

The Airbus A319-100 plane was flying from Charlotte, North Carolina, when a foul odor in the cabin caused several passengers to suffer from nausea and headache.

The plane continued for a safe landing. The affected passengers received medical assistance at the airport.

The airline said the foul odor developed due to a mechanical issue.

Alaska Airlines Plane Returns to Honolulu After Crew Fall Ill due to Unusual Odor

Spirit Airlines Flight Returns to Orlando due to Foul Odor

The plane took off for Latrobe, Pennsylvania, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a strong odor onboard.

The Airbus A320-200 plane carrying 179 people landed safely.

Two passengers and five crew members reported breathing difficulties and nausea. They were taken to hospital.

Jin AirA Jin Air plane had to return and make an emergency landing at Mactan–Cebu International Airport, Philippines, on January 3rd.

The Boeing 737-800 jet took off for Busan, South Korea, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew noticed that one of the doors was not completely shut.

The plane landed uneventfully. None of the 163 passengers were injured, although, some of them complained of nausea during return trip.

The passengers were accommodated in another flight.

The incident is being investigated.
