A Microlight aircraft crashed on the runway at Caernarfon Airport in Snowdonia, North Wales, United Kingdom.
The accident happened at about 6pm on May 15. According to a North Wales Police spokesperson, “A 55-year-old male – thought to be inside the aircraft at the time of the collision – was taken to hospital with serious injuries and was sadly later pronounced dead.”
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB).
