Aeromexico Plane Collides with Service Truck at LAX; 8 Injured

An Aeromexico plane collided with a service truck after landing in Los Angeles, California, on May 20th.

The incident happened when flight AM-642 from Mexico City, Mexico, was taxiing toward the terminal at Los Angeles airport.

The truck overturned due to impact. There were eight people aboard, including six men and two women; all of them were injured.

The Boeing 737-800 plane, carrying 149 people, sustained minor damage.

Single Engine Plane Crashes in California; 2 Killed

A single-engine plane crashed at Lake Berryessa between Pleasure Cove Marina and Markley Cove Resort in Napa County, California, on the morning of May 8th.

The two men aboard the Icon A5, identified as Jon Murray Karkow, 55, and his passenger Cagri Sever, 41, were killed in the crash. Both were employees of Icon Aircraft.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

A Curtiss JN-4 biplane crashed shortly after taking off the runway at Peach State Airport, Williamson, Pike County, Georgia, on November 17th.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Florida; No Injuries Reported

A small plane made an emergency landing in Everglades, Florida, on November 13th.

The Cessna 152 plane, carrying two people, went down into a swamp on mile marker 47 near Tamiami.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Mike Jachles, “When that airplane came down into the swamp, the two men told our firefighters that the nose gear head caused the plane to flip over.”

Both occupants of the plane remained uninjured.

The Piper Super Cub PA18 was carrying two men at the time.

A single-engine Cessna plane crashed into Trinity River near Highway 105, Liberty County, Texas, on the evening of September 3rd.

According to sources, there were two men onboard and the pilot was doing flips and barrel rolls before the plane crashed.

The pilot and his friend lost their lives in the crash.

Small Plane Crashes in New York; 3 Killed

A small plane crashed in Syosset, New York, on May 3rd.

The Beech BE-35 aircraft took off from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and was en-route to Plainville, Connecticut, when it broke up mid-air.

There were three people aboard at the time, including two men and a woman; all of them were killed in the crash.

Authorities said the pilot reported issues with his instrument panel shortly before the crash.

The FAA is investigating.

Ryanair Plane Diverts to France due to Disruptive Passengers

RyanairA Ryanair flight had to divert and make an emergency landing at Limoges – Bellegarde Airport, Limoges, France, on April 28th.

The Boeing 737, en-route from Liverpool, England, to Alicante, Spain, was mid-air when two drunk men onboard began fighting, prompting the captain to divert the plane.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 180 passengers onboard remained unharmed.

The two men were taken to a nearby police station.

Small Plane Crashed into Pompano Beach House; 3 Injured

A small plane crashed into a home located at 925 NE 26th Ave. in Pompano Beach, Florida, on April 25th.

The Hawker Beechcraft 76 plane went down shortly after taking off from Pompano Beach Airpark.

There were two men and a woman aboard the plane at the time; all of them were critically injured. Authorities confirmed that no one on the ground was injured.

The aircraft is registered to Florida Aviation Academy.

The FAA is investigating.

Plane Carrying TU Men’s Basketball Team Returns to Tulsa due to Engine Failure

Aerodynamics Flight 974 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on February 2nd.

The charter plane, carrying University of Tulsa’s men’s basketball team, had to turn back after one of the engines stopped working. The team was heading to Philadelphia for a Thursday game at Temple University.

The plane landed safely. All 37 people aboard remained unhurt.
