Air India Plane Diverts to Bhopal due to Cargo Smoke Indication

airindialogoAir India flight AI-35 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, on May 10th.

The Airbus A320-200, heading from New Delhi to Kochi in Kerala, India, was diverted due to a cargo smoke indication.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 168 passengers and 7 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Air India Plane Returns to Bhopal after Bird Strike

airindialogoAir India flight AI-634 had to return and make a safe landing at Bhopal Airport, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, on March 9.

The Airbus A319-100, flying from Bhopal, to Mumbai, had just climbed out of the airport when its right hand engine ingested a bird, prompting the crew to return.

The plane landed safely.

All 90 people aboard remained safe.
