Swift Air flight WQ-2228 made an emergency landing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 8th.

The Boeing 737-400 plane heading from Long Beach, California, to Raleigh–Durham International Airport, North Carolina, was diverted due to a cargo smoke indication.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Southwest Airlines flight WN-1987 had to return and make an emergency landing in Sacramento, California, on February 4th.

The Boeing 737-700 plane took off for Long Beach, California, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a bird strike.

The plane landed safely.

All one hundred and fourteen people aboard remained unharmed.

JetBlue flight B6-532 suffered a bird strike near Salt Lake City International Airport, Utah, on November 7th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Long Beach, California, was on final approach to Salt Lake City International Airport when a bird hit it.

Jetblue Plane Makes Emergency Landing in California

jetBlueJetblue flight B6-404 made an emergency landing in Oakland, California, on August 1.

The plane took off for Long Beach, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported that one of the engines was emitting loud noise.

The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.

Beechcraft Musketeer Airplane Crash-Landed at Long Beach Airport

A Beechcraft C23 Musketeer airplane crash-landed at Long Beach Airport in California, on the night of June 18.

Authorities said the plane was attempting to land at the runway but rammed into a perimeter fence just before touching the approach end.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating the cause of crash.
