Two Killed After Small Plane Crashes in Topeka, Kansas

A small plane crashed near Philip Billard Municipal Airport in Topeka, Kansas, on July 31st.

The 1965 Piper PA-30 fixed wing plane was carrying two people when it went down.

Both occupants were killed in the crash. They were identified as pilot William Leeds, 76, of Mission, Kansas, and co-pilot James Bergman, 55, of Leawood, Kansas.

The crash is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashes in Camarillo, California; Father, Son Killed

A small plane crashed in Camarillo, California, on June 4th.

Authorities said the single-engine plane went down in a private property in Marvella Court.

There were two people aboard at the time, including James Harlan, 57, and his son, Dylan Harlan,15; both of them were killed in the crash.

The incident is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashed in Florida; Pilot Killed

A single-engine plane made a crash landing at St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport, Clearwater, Florida, at around 7:30 p.m. on May 5th.

The 44-year old pilot James Fink from Rhode Island was killed in the accident.

The airport authorities informed the police after hearing the crash sound.

The FAA is investigating the incident.

3 Killed, 7 Injured as Plane Crashes in Alaska

crashA small floatplane plane crashed north of Iliamna Airport in Iliamna, Alaska, on September 15.

The DeHavilland DHC-3T Turbine Otter aircraft, carrying 10 people, went down while it was taking off from East Wind Lake.

Three people were killed in the accident. They were identified as 80-year-old Tony W. Degroot, of Hanford, California, 69-year-old James Specter, of Shavertown, Pennsylvania and 70-year-old James P. Fletcher, of Clovis, California.

Seven others were injured and were shifted to hospitals.

The plane belonged to Rainbow King Lodge.

The NTSB is investigating.

Chanhassen Pilot, Family Injured in New Mexico Cessna Crash

Four people flying from Ames to a Las Vegas New Mexico airport in a CESSNA
210L were injured when the plane crashed on landing on July 2nd 2014.

The critically injured pilot, James Fretham, was hospitalized with broken bones and spinal injuries. He is from Chanhassen, Minnesota, where the plane is registered. The injured passengers, his wife Elizabeth and two daughters Grace and Caitrin, have been released from a Santa Fe hospital

Reports say that Fretham had surgery on July 4.

The plane was about to land in cloudy weather, but Fretham had to pull up to avoid hitting a truck obstructing the runway. The plane crashed when a wing glanced the ground.
