Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Frankfurt

Lufthansa flight LH-1357 made an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 30th.

The plane flying from Katowice, Poland, was descending toward Frankfurt when the crew noticed an instrument fault and declared an emergency.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

United Airlines Flight Diverts to Boston due to Engine Instrument Problem

United airlinesUnited Airlines flight UA-64 had to divert for an emergency landing in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 5th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Lisbon, Portugal, was diverted after the crew reported an engine instrument problem.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

The passengers were accommodated in other flights.

Austrian Airlines Flight Returns to Vienna

Austrian AirlinesAustrian Airlines flight OS-935 made an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria, on August 5th.

The plane took off for Klagenfurt, Austria, but had to turn back due to a defective instrument screen.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Small Plane Crashes in New York; 3 Killed

A small plane crashed in Syosset, New York, on May 3rd.

The Beech BE-35 aircraft took off from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and was en-route to Plainville, Connecticut, when it broke up mid-air.

There were three people aboard at the time, including two men and a woman; all of them were killed in the crash.

Authorities said the pilot reported issues with his instrument panel shortly before the crash.

The FAA is investigating.
