Why: Four men and two women died when their Piper apparently stalled and crashed in a field near Chatel-St-Denis. The plane circled low over the village before crashing. They were about thirty minutes out of Lausanne-Blécherette.
50 firefighters responded to the scene and a team of psychologists.
The plane is a total loss. The unidentified remains were taken to the University Center of Legal Medicine in Lausanne
