Colombia Glider Crash

A Urdinarrain Air Club Lehtovaara PIK-16C Vasama (this is a glider; I had to look it up. The crash is bad enough you can’t really tell.)

The glider was climbing while being towed at Urdinarrain Airfield, Prov. de Entre Ríos.

The glider crashed, killing the pilot.

Ricardo Alfredo Cabrera was aboard the training glider. Apparently he was being towed, made a turn and came off without achieving adequate height.

The crash occurred in the field of Onelio Charadia where the pilot died on the scene.
