Volaris Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Guadalajara

Volaris flight Y4-773 made an emergency landing in Guadalajara, Mexico, on August 13th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Mexico City to Tijuana, Mexico, was diverted after the crew noticed flight control problems.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

United Airlines Flight Returns to Newark due to Flight Control Problems

United Airlines flight UA-1990 had to return and make an emergency landing in Newark, New Jersey, on July 26th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Minneapolis, Minnesota, but had to turn back due to flight control problems.

The plane landed back safely. All one hundred and fifty-four passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

U.S. Air Force Tanker Makes Emergency Landing at RAF Mildenhall

US air forceA U.S. Air Force refueling plane made an emergency landing at RAF Mildenhall airbase in England, on April 29.

The KC-135 Stratotanker was on a routine mission when it had to declare an in-flight emergency due to a flight control-related fault.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 3 passengers and 3 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Delta Connection Jet in Emergency Landing at Indianapolis Airport

250px-Delta_logo.svgA Delta Connection regional jet en route from Lansing to Atlanta had to divert and make an emergency landing at Indianapolis International Airport, Indiana, at around 10:10 a.m. on August 16.

Airport officials confirmed that the jet diverted to Indianapolis because of flight control issues.

The plane landed safely and all 44 people aboard remained unharmed.
