American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Charlotte

American Airlines flight AA-1668 made an emergency landing in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 15th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Chicago, Illinois, but had to turn back after the right-hand engine stalled.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Air Canada Flight Rejects Takeoff From Zurich

Air Canada flight AC-879 had to reject takeoff from Zurich, Switzerland, on February 26th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Toronto, Canada, when the left-hand engine stalled, forcing the crew to reject takeoff.

The plane safely returned to the apron. All two hundred and sixty-eight passengers and eleven crew members remained unharmed.

KLM Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Amsterdam

KLM flight KL-891 had to return and make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on December 10th.

The Boeing 787-900 plane took off for Chengdu, China, but had to turn back after one of the engines stalled.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Aeroflot Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Zurich

Aeroflot Airlines flight SU-2391 had to return and make an emergency landing in Zurich, Switzerland, on February 26th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Moscow, Russia, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported an engine stall.

The plane landed safely after burning off excess fuel. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Small Plane Crashes in Berks County Cornfield

A small plane crashed into a cornfield in Washington Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, on September 21.

The plane ended up in an upside down position near 1600 block of Route 100. According to a witness Tyler Moyer, “We heard the engine stall, and then it started back up… The farmer was still picking the corn. The farmer didn’t even notice it, and the dust was flying everywhere from the tractors and stuff,”

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the cause of crash.
