Small Plane Crashed in Tillamook County, OR

A small plane crashed into the Nestucca River in Tillamook County, Oregon, on September 3rd.

The plane had just taken off from Pacific City State Airport when it lost engine power and went down.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained unharmed.

Sky-Diving Plane Makes Emergency Landing on New Jersey Highway

cessnaskylanet182tA sky-diving plane had to make an emergency landing at route 72 in Stafford Township, New Jersey, on the morning of July 12.

The single-engine plane had to be landed in emergency after it apparently lost engine power. The plane was carrying 5 people, including 3 students and an instructor from the Skydive East Coast sky-diving school, at the time.

The plane landed uneventfully. Authorities said the instructor received a minor cut on his arm while everyone else remained unhurt.

The FAA is investigating.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on California Highway; No Injuries Reported

A small plane made an emergency landing on U.S. Highway 101, south of San Jose, in California, on June 6, 2015.

The single-engine plane was flying from Harris Ranch Airport, Coalinga when it lost engine power and had to land in emergency.

There were 4 people aboard, including the 20-year-old pilot Wyatt Grow; all of them remained unhurt.

The southbound lanes of the highway were temporarily closed due to the incident.

United Flight Diverts to Spokane due to Engine Problem

new-united-logoUnited Airlines flight 273 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Spokane, Washington, shortly before 7 p.m. on December 21.

The flight, en-route from Seattle to Newark, NJ, was diverted after the Airbus A320 lost power to one of its two engines.

The plane landed uneventfully and no one aboard was injured.

An alternate aircraft was arranged for the passengers.
