Delta Airlines flight DL-762 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Nashville International Airport, Nashville, Tennessee, on May 8th.
The Boeing 717-200, heading from Atlanta, Georgia, to Chicago, Illinois, had to divert after it encountered turbulence, resulting in the separation of its right hand engine’s cowl.
The plane received substantial damage.
All 114 people onboard remained unhurt.
