A helicopter crashed near the Cerfontaine airfield, in the province of Namur in southwestern Belgium, at around 5:00 p.m. on June 13.
One of the two people aboard died and the other one suffered multiple serious injuries.
According to the local rescue center, firefighters and paramedics from close by town arrived on the location.
It is believed that the accident happened during an annual test being carried out under the supervision of an experienced pilot.
