Travel Service Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Cabin Fire Indication

Travel Service flight QS-1580 made an emergency landing in Burgas, Bulgaria, on August 1st.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Bratislava, Slovakia, was on approach to Burgas when the crew declared an emergency due to a cabin fire indication.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred and seventy-eight people aboard remained unharmed.

Condor Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strike

Condor flight DE-1707 had to return and make an emergency landing in Burgas, Bulgaria, on June 30th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Leipzig, Germany, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a bird strike.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Wizz Air Plane Rejects Takeoff in Bulgaria due to Bird Strike

WizzAirWizz Air flight W6-4551 had to reject takeoff at Burgas Airport, Burgas, Bulgaria, on September 16th.

The Airbus A320-200 was accelerating the takeoff for London, England, when the crew reported a bird strike.

The plane returned to the apron.

All passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

LOT Polish Airlines Flight Diverts due to Bomb Scare

LOT-new-logoLOT Polish Airlines flight LLP8015 made an emergency landing at the Burgas airport, Bulgaria, on November 19.

The plane, heading from Warsaw, Poland, to Hurghada, Egypt, was diverted after a passenger said there was a bomb onboard.

The plane landed safely.

All 161 passengers remained unharmed.

Chartered YanAir Flight Lands in Emergency at Bulgaria

YANAIRThe chartered flight K2 6242of Ukraine’s YanAir, operated by Polish Eurolot, made a safe emergency landing in the port of Burgas in Bulgaria on August 6.

The incident happened when the flight was heading from Antalya, Turkey to Poznan, Poland.

Eurolot spokeswoman Karolina Bursa said the pilot of the Airbus 320 “decided to make a landing because a need emerged during the flight to check one of the systems.” She also said that security protocols in such situations require landing at the nearest airport.

She further confirmed that the experts were checking a system that controls air conditioning and other things in the aircraft.
