A small plane made an emergency landing in a corn field near the intersection of Mt. Auburn Road and Main, Benton County, Iowa, at 4:10 p.m. on June 3.
The pilot decided to make this hard landing after some mechanical problem started generating smoke in the plane.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said that the pilot was the only person on-board and he was not injured.
Benton County, Black Hawk County, and La Porte City Fire and Police responded to the call.
