Batik Air Plane Returns to Indonesia after Losing Cabin Pressure

Batik Air flight ID-6853 had to return and make an emergency landing at Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport, Pekanbaru, Indonesia, on May 9th.

The Boeing 737-800 flying to Jakarta, Indonesia, had to return after losing cabin pressure.

The plane landed safely.

Two among the 91 people aboard suffered respiratory and ear problems. One of them had to be taken to hospital.

Batik Air and TransNusa Planes Collide in Jakarta

Batik AirA Batik Air plane collided with a TransNusa plane on the runway at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia, on April 4th.

TransNusaThe incident happened when the Batik Air plane was taking off, while the TransNusa plane was being towed across the runway.

The aircrafts sustained minor scratches.

No one was injured.
