PIA Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Engine Fire Indication

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-588 made an emergency landing in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, on May 12th.

The plane flying from Karachi, Pakistan, was on final approach to Bahawalpur when the crew went around and reported an engine fire indication.

The plane subsequently landed safely on second approach. All forty-one people aboard remained safe.

PIA Plane makes Safe Landing in Pakistan after Engine Issue

pia-logoPakistan International Airlines flight PK-588 made a safe landing at Bahawalpur Airport, Pakistan, on May 17.

The Avions de Trasport Regional ATR-42-500, flying from Karachi, Pakistan, was about to land when the crew detected some issue with one of its engines.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.
