Bird-Hit Avianca Airlines Plane Returns to Bogota

Avianca Airlines flight AV-241 had to return and make an emergency landing in Bogota, Colombia, on September 24th. The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Santiago, Chile, but had to return shortly afterwards after one of the engines ingested several birds. The plane landed safely.
