TAP Portugal Plane Returns to Lisbon due to Smoke Indication

TAPTAP Portugal flight TP-15 returned and made an emergency landing at Lisbon Portela Airport, Lisboa, Portugal, on October 29.

The Airbus A340-300, en-route to Recife, Brazil, had to return due to a cargo smoke indication.

The plane, with 274 people aboard, landed safely.

No injuries were reported.

Air Tahiti Nui Plane Returns to Paris after Bird Strike

The Airbus A340-300 was taking-off for Los Angeles, California, when it was hit by a bird. The crew decided to burn fuel and return to Paris.

The plane returned safely.

Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
