Yemenia flight IY-600 had to return and make an emergency landing in Aden, Yemen, on June 8th.

The Airbus A310-300 plane took off for Cairo, Egypt, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one the engines due to an oil leak.

The plane landed back safely. All one hundred and eighty people aboard remained unharmed.

PIA Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Karachi

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-898 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan, on December 19th.

The Airbus A310-300 plane heading from Lahore, Pakistan, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was diverted due to a hydraulic problem.

The plane landed safely. All 180 people aboard remained unharmed.

Air Transat Plane Returns to Scotland after Sensor Problem

Air TransatAir Transat flight TS-183 had to return and make an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport, Paisley, Scotland, on September 16th.

The Airbus A310-300 headed for Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was climbing out of Glasgow when the crew reported a sensor problem.

The plane landed uneventfully.
