Southwest Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Flaps Issue

Southwest Airlines flight WN-1803 made an emergency landing at Chicago Midway International Airport, Illinois, on August 1st.

The Boeing 737-700 plane flying from Atlanta, Georgia, was on final approach to Chicago when the crew received an abnormal flaps indication and went around.

The plane subsequently landed safely on second approach. All ninety-eight people aboard remained unharmed.

JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Charleston

JetBlue flight B6-913 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 23rd.

The Embraer ERJ-190 plane heading from Westchester County Airport, New York, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was diverted after smoke was noticed in the cockpit.

The plane landed safely. All ninety-eight passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.

Eurowings Plane Diverts to Germany due to Cracked Windshield

Eurowings flight EW-9224 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Hamburg Airport, Germany, on May 12th.

The Airbus A319-100 flying from Dusseldorf, Germany, to Gothenburg, Sweden, had to divert after the captain’s windshield cracked.

The plane landed safely.

All 98 passengers remained safe and were rebooked in other flights.

United Airlines Flight Diverts to Shannon Airport

United Airlines flight 102 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on February 12th.

The Boeing 767 plane, heading from Houston, Texas, to Munich, Germany, was diverted after the crew reported problems with one of the two engines.

The plane landed safely. There were 98 passengers and 13 crew members aboard; none of them were harmed.
